About Mindy
My name is Mindy, and I am a certified educator with 16 years of classroom experience. I currently teach seventh-grade math and have worked with students at different academic levels and with a variety of learning needs. I am patient, dependable, organized, and committed to helping students feel successful. My name is Mindy, and I am an experienced certified teacher who provides patient, encouraging, and personalized math instruction. I break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and use examples, guided practice, visual models, and real-world connections to help students build confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student’s current skills, followed by direct instruction, guided examples, independent practice, and a final check for understanding. I adjust each lesson based on the student’s learning style and individual needs.
What sets me apart is my classroom experience, ability to explain concepts in multiple ways, and commitment to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
