About Danielle
I am originally from Québec and French is my native language. I am also bilingual and can effectively communicate in the English language as well. I am a certified teacher who has been teaching full-time as a French Immersion teacher, at the elementary level, in Victoria, British Columbia since 2001. Throughout my teaching career, I have also tutored students regularly and have loads of experience. I really enjoy working one-on-one with my students. I strive to get to know the individual I am working with so that I can support their specific needs and help them achieve their goals. As an elementary educator, I have taught all subjects in the French Language (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening). I have also taught Math, Sciences, and Social Studies. I am not afraid to use technology or any fun resources available to make my teaching more fun and engaging. I would love to tutor students from K to 12. I am also open to teaching adults who would like to learn the French language. I am looking forward to working with you!

I strive to offer lessons that are well-planned and specific to the needs of the learner. I will happily adjust or adapt my lessons and activities to make sure that the learner is engaged and can learn effectively. I try to make lessons and activities fun and engaging and do use various technologies available (videos, games, etc.) to enrich them. I also have a website full of resources, educational links, games, etc. for the learner to refer to and explore. If needed, I can also provide homework to help review, practice, or reinforce the concepts learned.
