About Sam
I am a music producer/musician/live sound engineer with a degree in Music Technology. Over the past 10 years I have been working with various bands and artists from all over Wales and have touring experience playing to international audiences, in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall with Sting, and theatres throughout the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia, and North America.
I have recorded and produced a number of singles/albums for many artists, all of varying musical genres. Some of these have been BBC Radio Wales Folk Awards Album of the Year winners and nominated for a BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and have been on Radio Cymru Track of the week and BBC Radio Wales A playlists.
I have also been a successful Can i Gymru finalist on a number of occasions. Alongside my career as a touring musician he has been composing and producing hard hitting, dark, electronic, collaborating with various artists
Sam combines influences from each if his musical experiences such as folk, rock, jazz, and drum and bass to “create something that always sounds original” - Lisa Gwilym BBC Radio Cymru.
I have lots of experience teaching music, production and giving instrument lessons and have experience mentoring and with ensembles to develop their craft.
