About Brendan
Before becoming an English teacher, I was a singer songwriter, playing my music on the streets of Spain and also teaching students how to sing, play guitar and write songs. Needless to say, I have always loved to teach and travel! In my spare time, I’m up for anything. Hanging out with friends, whether it’s playing cards, hiking up a mountain, or going to see a movie! When I’m on my own, I read a lot of fiction. I love books. In fact, I’ve recently just finished writing a novel!

Why do you want to learn English? I know I wanted to learn Italian to speak to people! I bet your goals are similar. The hardest thing to master is speaking: real life conversations with natives. For this reason I make this the focus of my lessons. I teach only the grammar and vocabulary that is most useful for natural communication. What's more, I teach communication skills. These skills are essential for surviving native conversations. Ever had difficulty understanding a native who speaks fast? Or maybe you want to tell a joke but you can't find the words quick enough? In my lessons we'll focus on problems like these so that you can thrive in any social situation! Sei Italiano? Fantastico! Dopo aver imparato Italiano ho conosciuto tante gente meravigliosa. Sicuramente avremmo tanto di parlare, sono molto interessata di imparare del tuo regione, e soprattuto del cibo! Posso anche auitarti di capire gli differenzi tra Inglese e Italiano. Per esempio, un fatto interessante: in italiano c'e la parola 'divertente' pero in inglese abbiamo due parole: 'fun' e 'funny'. Tu conosci la differenza? :)
