About Kirsty
Hi! I’m Kirsty, a university student studying biochemistry. I’m passionate about science and love helping others understand it better. I know science can feel tricky sometimes, especially subjects like biology and chemistry, so I want to make learning clear and enjoyable. I enjoy teaching because I believe everyone can succeed with the right support and guidance. My goal is to help you build confidence in your science skills, prepare well for your exams, and most importantly, enjoy the process of learning. I’m patient, approachable, and ready to tailor lessons to fit your needs. I’d love to help you achieve your goals and discover how interesting science can be! I offer personalised science tutoring focused on Year 7 to GCSE students, mainly covering biology and chemistry topics. My lessons are designed to help you build a strong understanding of key concepts, boost your confidence, and improve your grades. I tailor each session to your individual needs, whether you want help catching up with classwork, preparing for exams, or mastering tricky topics. Expect clear explanations, lots of examples, and practical tips for remembering important information. My teaching style is patient and supportive—I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that’s how real learning happens. I also provide practice questions and help with exam technique to make sure you’re ready on the big day. Lessons can be online or in person (if local), and I’m flexible with scheduling to fit your school timetable.
