About Rory
I am a guitarist, composer and music tutor with 3 years of tutoring experience and a decade of playing experience.
I cover acoustic and electric guitars (including extended ranged guitars)
and genres such as jazz, rock, progressive rock, pop just to name a few!
I also teach:
Music theory
Compositional skills
Lyric writing
rehearsal and practice skills

I have experience teaching a variety of age groups all at varying levels so I'm comfortable and fully able to accommodate with lessons I have already preplanned.
I often teach a mixture of 1-1 lessons and groups of up to 5 students.
When teaching more experienced guitarists I fully work with the students goals, at this stage I would generally never tell my students what to do but guide them and their creativity in finding out their own voice. For music I believe this method of teaching to be the most beneficial and rewarding in the long term.
