About Annette
I am TEFL certified tutor with 3 years experience of teaching English as a second language. I recently spent two years in Japan teaching English to single students as well as groups. My best time was as an English coach at the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Sasebo, where I had the wonderful opportunity to interact with lots of students of all grade levels from all over Japan. I was born in Sweden and originally worked there as a preschool teacher for 5 years. I have had the opportunity to also live in France, Italy, Japan and the US. My love of traveling has allowed me to visit more than 20 countries and I really enjoy learning about other cultures and customs.

I can help you perfect your conversational skills and make you more confident when using the English language. With the help of some made up scenarios, we can together help you practice how to order food in a restaurant, make a hotel reservation, ask for directions during vacation etc. If you need help with grammar or homework, I can help you study.
I am very fond of using dry erase boards, flashcards with letters and numbers, props like real food items, toys and household items to help describe words. Depending on the student, sometimes I also use audio and/or video clips to make it more fun. So regardless of your level, together we can make your English class fun.
