About Susan
I have been teaching in Scottish Secondary schools for 25 years and have a full understanding of the curriculum from beginners to Advanced Higher. I work for the SQA and have been involved in writing and marking the exams. I wrote the study guides for National 5 and Higher German. I also have experience of teaching adults wanting to enhance their CV or wishing to learn German as a hobby or to be able to work in a German-speaking country.

My lessons are well-planned, based on each student's needs and ability. Each lesson builds on the one before and is divided up into manageable chunks so that the student can see progression. Each lesson will have something old (revision), something new, something for fun and something to do. The main focus during a lesson will be building up vocabulary and grammar rules to allow talking. Listening and reading tasks will be provided for homework. I have a wealth of learning materials and top tips for learning to share with you!
