About Christy
I am a Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Optometry student at the University of Canberra. I graduated in 2017 from Kedron State High School in Brisbane with an ATAR of 96.30. In my first year of university, I studied a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business degree at QUT. During this time I was employed at 2 tutoring companies and ran my own tutoring business. I worked with children ranging from 5-17 years, with various levels of English knowledge.

As a tutor, I believe each student has a different way of learning and understanding topics. For me, tutoring must be enjoyable and catered towards each student's specific needs. I do this by changing my learning style depending on what I can understand from the student's strengths and weaknesses. My usual teaching style is quite relaxed and casual, but focused on the goal of that lesson. I like to decide this goal with the student when we start the lesson, so we can work together to achieve it.
