About Stacie

I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading. I have over twenty years of experience in the classroom teaching grades prekindergarten through eighth.

I have been tutoring privately for the past two years. I enjoy a close relationship with my students and their parents. I am thrilled to say that all of my students are improving!

About the lesson

I am a certified teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching reading. My degree in Elementary Education and I have a minor in Reading. I am passionate about helping children develop the skills they need to become fluent readers and develop a love of reading. I enjoy talking to my students' parents to find out the needs of their child and discuss specific concerns. My first session with your child will be spent getting to know them, informally assessing their abilities, identifying their interests and learning styles, and beginning instruction. I can't wait to find out more about your child and how I can help!

Perfect! Stacie is such a great tutor to my son. She has helped him greatly with his reading from when he started. He loves getting online with her. She has also been very flexible with our schedule.

I was afraid my son would have a hard time learning since he is a hands-on student but he’s been doing amazing with her through Zoom. I’ve notice HUGEEE improvements in just 2 weeks of tutoring!! Extremely hopeful and blessed to have found her.
