About Febin
Hi, I’m a dedicated Chemistry tutor currently studying A-Level Chemistry and Biology, with a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy science. Having recently worked through the GCSE and A-Level curriculum myself, I understand the challenges students face and know how to explain difficult concepts in a clear and relatable way.
Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of Chemistry, particularly in areas such as calculations, moles, organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and exam-style problem solving. I have spent countless hours practising past-paper questions and refining exam techniques, giving me valuable insight into what examiners are looking for and the common mistakes students make.
I believe that every student can succeed in Chemistry with the right support and guidance. My aim is to create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. Whether a student is aiming to pass, improve their grades, or achieve top marks, I am committed to helping them reach their goals.
Outside of tutoring, I am planning to pursue a career in healthcare through a Pharmacy degree, which reflects my ongoing interest in science and education. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed both in Chemistry and in their future studies.

I offer online GCSE and A-Level Chemistry tutoring tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of key concepts before moving on to exam-style questions and application. I break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson. My aim is not just to help students memorise content, but to ensure they genuinely understand the chemistry behind it and can confidently apply their knowledge in exams.
My lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson is structured around the student’s goals, whether that is improving topic knowledge, preparing for exams, strengthening calculation skills, or practising exam technique. While I schedule lessons for a set duration, I am flexible and do not mind going slightly over the allocated time when needed to ensure a student fully understands a topic or completes an important question. I believe students should never feel rushed when they are making good progress.
As an A-Level Chemistry student, I have recent experience studying the content and understand the challenges students face when learning Chemistry. Having worked extensively with exam questions, revision techniques, and specification requirements, I can provide relevant and up-to-date support that is closely aligned with what students are expected to know for their examinations.
My lessons are suitable for:
