My name is Yab, an experienced Amharic teacher and civil engineer from Ethiopia. As a native speaker with two years of teaching experience, I offer a deep understanding of both the language and the cultural richness it represents.

In my Amharic lessons, which are certified by the Askale NGO organization, I use a variety of engaging graphical techniques to help students visualize and grasp language concepts more effectively. These lessons are structured into 60-minute sessions, tailored to meet the needs of different proficiency levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
For beginners, we focus on foundational vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and basic conversational skills, using visuals to connect words with their meanings. Intermediate learners delve into more complex grammar and language structures, and we incorporate role-playing exercises that simulate real-life conversations. Advanced students focus on refining their fluency, understanding nuanced expressions, and mastering both formal and informal communication styles.
In addition to language skills, my lessons integrate practical knowledge from both a business and cultural perspective. This makes them ideal for individuals interested in living or working in Ethiopia.
