About Sam
Hello! I'm Sam and I am an experienced math tutor who loves to help students create healthy study habits while minimizing test anxiety. My goal is to teach students to be successful on their own! I have been a private tutor (primarily math) for 9 years. I spent the last year as a theater teacher in Charleston, SC while also teaching the occasional private lesson. I have tutored speech and public speaking work as well as ACT/SAT tutoring.

A typical lesson is goal oriented and will focus on either homework understanding, test preparation, study habit practice, or whatever the student needs. Goals will be decided the previous lesson so the student has time to prepare and change if needed. I teach elementary to early college level math for anyone who wants a new understanding of this difficult subject.
