About Marisa
I have been working with children since 2019, starting with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My biggest motivation for this work is seeing the children I work with make progress with their skill deficits and trying to promote as many independent skills as I can with the time I have with them.

I have many effective ways and methods of teaching lessons and skills, while trying to make them engaging and fun to the learner. I mainly work with preschool and elementary aged students with different skill deficits, from academics to students with deficits due to special needs. I primarily have experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
