About Bethan
I am currently a second year medical science student at Exeter university. I studied biology, physics, mathematics and chemistry at A level before attending university and achieved an A* in all subjects. I feel lucky that I had teachers, particular biology teachers, who felt so passionate about their subject and wanted to share their joy for it with me and this gave me an enjoyable experience during school and is why I decided to pursue this degree. However I am aware that not every student has the same experience with science in school and I want to try and create a positive atmosphere and hopefully share my love for biology with you to make your experience as good as mine was.

I have experience tutoring while working for ‘Explore learning’ so am aware of the importance of personalising lessons to suit each students needs. Together with the student we will look at their different strengths and weaknesses within biology and work in a way that suits them best. We can also look at different revision methods if preparing for exams.
I want to create an open and comfortable environment for the student where they are not afraid of making mistakes and feel able to ask as many questions as needed without feeling judged.
I look forward to working with you soon!
