About Krishna
Hello, this is Krishna. I have worked as an actuary (credentialed) as well as a data scientist at various insurance and IT companies. I hold a master’s in actuarial science and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. I have also worked as a graduate teaching assistant where I lectured on math and statistics. While working full time, I provide high quality tutoring in math and python programming.
My areas of expertise in math include Discrete math, High-school math, Mid-level math, Competitive math and SAT/GRE math. I also have expertise in programming languages Python, Java and SQL. I have developed robust process automations using Java, Selenium, SQL for backend systems and created profitable and sophisticated stocks/options automated trading systems in python using backtrader framework.

I get immense pleasure in helping and tutoring students who are lost or need help with any math/programming problem or a concept that they are struggling with. I feel really happy when I hear my students have understood the concepts and see the problems in a different light with increased confidence in dealing with similar problems on their own with my help. I am very passionate about teaching. What makes me excel at tutoring is my fundamental belief that everyone can excel in math and programming regardless of their background/experience level coupled with my passion for sharing my expertise and knowledge and guiding the students in the right path towards achieving all of their academic goals.
My typical lesson plan includes getting an idea about student's level of understanding on the subject and then designing a lesson tailored to suit their level by following a step by step approach to fill in all the gaps in understanding, with the ultimate goal of student achieving mastery of the subject.
If you are looking for any help on a concept or a problem no matter how hard or complex it is, I want to assure you that I am here to help you conquer all your math and programming related quests and I will work passionately with you guiding you all the way in reaching all of your goals in excelling at math.
