About Porter
I am an experienced ESL tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and extensive teaching experience working with learners of all ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels. My focus is on helping students develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English through lessons that cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing while strengthening grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Speaking activities focus on pronunciation, fluency, and confidence-building through discussions, role-plays, and real-life conversational scenarios.
Reading exercises improve comprehension, vocabulary, and reading speed, using stories, articles, and dialogues that are both engaging and educational. Writing sessions guide students in sentence construction, paragraph development, and essay writing, emphasizing clarity, coherence, and proper grammar. Homework and practice activities reinforce classroom learning and allow students to consolidate their skills independently. Lessons are highly interactive, encouraging students to participate actively, ask questions, and express themselves freely.
