About Jo-Anne
I came from a family of educators. Teaching became my passion although I am a physiotherapist graduate. I have taught English to non-native speakers despite the fact I am one of them. After more than a decade working in International Language Schools I opened my own school but God had even better plans for me eventually, I have to hand over the business to someone who is as dedicated, trustworthy, and reliable as I am. And yes it is still open to this day but I have no direct link whatsoever to it anymore. I am a happy mom of 2 children with a regular job looking for another source of income. All the best!

Lessons are individualized basically depending on the following student’s English level which includes comprehension and ability to express his/her ideas, opinions, etc. Age is also considered like teaching beginners at a young age and beginners who are adults are different due to what is effective to the young may not be interesting to adults and vice versa. Another is reason, students have various reasons why they decided to study. The purpose usually determines if the student is serious and will do his/her best to learn or just learning for the sake of knowledge.
