About Sophia
I'm an Irish teacher living in Vancouver, BC. I moved here for the prospect of change and exploring job opportunities beyond the horizons. Luckily, this move has worked in my favour. It's the best decision I made, pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I have a four year Bachelors degree in Education, alongside a certificate in English as a foreign language teaching. I have four years teaching experience so I can assure you, you're in very safe hands.

My students favourite elements of my class are learning idioms everyday, playing intriguing warmer activities, learning vocabulary through many scenario based conversations and applying grammar in speech and writing. The most important part of my class is that we always have routine. I'm a caring thoughtful teacher who will go to any lengths to help you reach your ultimate goal.
