About Theresa
I am an ESL teacher. I have been giving lessons online since 2013 viaSkype Zoom. However,I have taught online, in colleges and universities, church basements and kitchen tables since 1991. My students have gone on to achieve their Masters degrees, pass their TOEFL exams, and receive academic achievement awards.

Most of the students I teach and tutor are university age (18+), young adults, and business professionals. I believe that It is the student who drives the learning because adult students have unique characteristics, skills, interests, and experiences. Adults should be assisted in drawing upon their backgrounds as they practice their skills. I have a passion for helping students reach their academic goals. I believe in providing frequent feedback and support; introducing new concepts in a multiplicity of ways; providing a variety of learning activities; and actively involving students in the learning process.
