About Alexandra
I grew up in Southern California and have always had a passion for writing and for languages. That passion drove me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and a certification in TESOL. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University of Fullerton. Although I am not fluent yet, I have been learning and practicing Spanish and Vietnamese for several years. My dream is to help language learners and native speakers alike to feel confident in their English skills, be it in speaking or in writing. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, trying new places to eat, writing poetry, and going to the beach.
If you choose me to be your tutor, I will take every step necessary to ensure that you are learning, gaining confidence, and feeling encouraged as you are strengthening your skills. Lessons will be conducted in a professional manner, and my goal is that you will leave each lesson feeling more confident in yourself and your skills. I can't wait to work with you!
