About Erin
I am a huge nerd for biology and chemistry, and I love to share this passion with the upcoming generation of potential scientists. I find tutoring extremely rewarding, as I have the privilege of seeing my students progress and achieve their goals, and it is especially exciting to witness ‘lightbulb moments’ after challenges with a topic.

My lessons focus on areas of weakness for each student, in order to optimise time to make the greatest improvement on grades achieved. Most topics in science can be taught in a number of ways, so I am flexible in allowing students to choose the method that suits their learning style, or be exposed to multiple perspectives to consolidate knowledge. Each lesson includes lots of exam practice, to check the success of the session, and ensure the student is feeling confident with the topic. Previous students have described my lessons as fun and engaging, as well as helpful and memorable.
