About Maitreyi
I am currently a masters student, 21, studying Msc. Agroecology. My course does not need me to be on university campus for weeks on end. Therefore, I want to spend this time helping others in any way possible. I've always though teaching academics has been my strong suit and hence chose to tutor biology. Growing up, it's been my favourite subject to study and I understand it very well. I am confident I can help students understand the appreciate the uniqueness of biology as a subject.

I think with biology, a sense of creative visualisation is really helpful in understanding concepts. I draw very well and can definitely clarify any conceptual questions the student is going to have. I am an organised person and have various methods of timetabling theoretical learning and exam strategies.
The length of a lesson would depend on the student but ideally it would be 60-90 minutes.
I do not have formal qualifications as a tutor. My friends in university have always relied on my explanations and concept understandings in achieving decent scores. I genuinely believe, I would be able to relate to a student more, given that I am currently a masters student too.
My lessons are for people between the age of 14 and 18. I can do lessons for students in lower age groups too.
