About Nolwen
Moi c'est Nolwen, enchanté! :-) I am 32 years old, a native French speaker, born and raised in Belgium. I have lived in the United States, Holland, Spain, Colombia, Brazil, and Belgium. What I have carried with me during all those years is the passion for discovering other cultures and languages, as well as for sharing about my culture and my own language. I am a jurist by training, and I became fond of sharing with my students about this beautiful language that is French. I have been teaching French for 7 years, in 4 different countries. I also speak English and Spanish fluently. I am also passionate about cycling and dancing mambo.

Bonjour :) I’d be delighted to speak French with you and make you a confident person in your speaking. My method is simple, we discuss a series of subjects, either from your preferences, either from my suggestion. As we go, I’ll take notes of the things you could improve, either in the pronunciation, either in the vocabulary, or the grammar. I like to share with my students modern expressions that will allow you to have real life conversations, and even sometimes impress your interlocutor! C’est pas magnifique ça? We can have a multi-facets class, or focus on one specific aspect according to your preferences (pronunciation or vocabulary for instance), but always keeping the speaking part at the center of our classes. For interested students, I can give you some homework (mostly an article to read and discuss during the class), but that is only an option, we can also stick to improving your skills together during the class. I adapt to motivation and availability of everyone. I offer the first class for free, so we can know each other’s and see if we feel comfortable together.
