Hello, music lovers!
My name is Xabier Mera, a professional musician and guitar teacher with experience in educational environments with young people and adults. Either if you're just looking to start for fun or improve your skills, I can offer commitment and good vibes. Lessons can be via Skype, at my place or, if you prefer, I could travel to yours (only at my hometown, Santiago de Compostela, in Spain). Learn at your own pace and according to your musical preferences. If you are starting I can show you the fundamentals that will put you on the right track to learn your favorite songs or styles. If you already play, I can give you some fresh ideas / techniques that will help you progress in your own style: Rock, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Bossa-Nova, ... Learn in the right way how to play the songs you love or even your own compositions! Guitar Lessons professionally tailored to each student needs, with a friendly oriented approach. I have loads of experience in artistic environments, either professional or educational projects: singing and guitar lessons, choirs, bands, production and touring shows, running courses and festivals, events and live music. I have a solid background in music theory, harmony, composition, etc. My main instrument is the guitar (jazz but also pop, rock, blues, etc.) but I'm also a trained and professional singer and piano player.
