About Sarah
Hello!
I am currently in my fourth year of a degree in Medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine and have a 2:1 BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield (2017).
I have 6 years of tutoring experience in Biology, Chemistry, General Sciences and UKCAT including client work via a well-known professional tutoring company based in London.
I am particularly knowledgable in Human Biology and can teach this at degree level having completed several modules during my first degree in Biomedical Science and my pre-clinical medical studies.
I can also tutor UKCAT, having achieved an average of 775 personally in 2017.
My tutoring technique is tailored to the individual student and I always begin by setting goals and making a step-wise plan with my student. Each lesson is planned carefully to fulfil these goals and I regularly check-in with my student to ensure their understand of topics. I am a student-led tutor thereby allowing students to guide their own learning as I believe that this makes lessons more enjoyable.

Sarah helped me to study for my A Level in Biology. She took the time to explain confusing topics and was patient when I did not understand properly. She seemed very knowledgable in human biology, which was my weakest area. She was always on time for lessons and never cancelled.
Sarah is a very competent tutor. She is good at explaining complex biology topics simply and understandably. Her teaching method helped me remember complicated subjects a lot easier.
