About Emily
I am an enthusiastic languages student with practical work experience in teaching a range of ages and in both a school environment and a private setting.
I have privately tutored a range of students in Spanish and French over the last 2 years, and I am a strong believer that in order to achieve the best results, learning needs to be fun and engaging, and I relish the opportunity to incorporate this element of interest and passion into my sessions.
I spent the 6 months at the beginning of this year teaching English as a foreign language to students from 3 years to adults, enabling me to develop different teaching styles, which can be personally suited to the individuals needs.

My teaching method totally varies depending on the student. If you’re a kinesthetic learner, we will focus on games and acting things out to remember them. If you’re a visual learner, we will use imagery and posters to help get out heads around grammar, and with aural learners we will focus a little more on listening and speaking activities. Of course, all classes will incorporate a little bit of all 3 to ensure a great learning from all aspects of the language.
