About Marie
Hello! I’m Marie, originally from Lyon, France. I graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in French Studies from Université de Lyon II. Since 2018, I’ve been teaching French online to students of all ages—children, high-schoolers, and adults. Prior to tutoring online, I spent two years teaching at a local language institute in Lyon. My experience ranges from helping beginners gain confidence to guiding intermediate learners toward B1 level. I believe in creating a supportive, pressure-free environment where mistakes are simply part of learning. Outside teaching, I enjoy French cinema and often bring short film clips into lessons to spark conversation.
