About Lowri
I graduated from The University of Birmingham with First Class Honours in Biological Sciences & am currently working as a secondary school Biology teacher, teaching at GCSE & A Level, as well as Key Stage 3.
I have had experience as an A Level Biology Tutor in a Sixth Form College as part of a university outreach program in which I helped A Level students to achieve their target grades. I found these experiences incredibly rewarding and had extremely positive feedback from the pupils & members of staff alike.
I have always been a highly motivated student, achieving top grades at GCSE and AS Level. I understand that large class sizes or a lack of motivation can affect pupils' grades & will aim to improve confidence, understanding & enthusiasm within the subject.
I am also a very keen musician, having achieved Grade 8 on the flute & am working towards my Grade 8 on the piano. I enjoy attending orchestral rehearsals & have competed successfully in various competitions. I would love also the opportunity to nurture a love of music in others.
I aim to making tutoring sessions as engaging as possible & very much hope to help you or your child to reach their individual potential.
