About Jacob
I’m a college senior studying Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Religious Studies, so I have a strong understanding of how people learn and process information. I’ve written and reviewed a wide range of papers, from 30-page research papers to short creative works like haikus, and I’ve consistently earned A’s in every English and Writing course I’ve taken.
With 6 years of French study, I’ve gained a unique perspective on the English language and its structure, which helps me guide students in grammar, writing, and expression. I also won first place at my grade school writing fair, and over the years I’ve naturally found myself helping classmates with their writing and assignments.
I have 3 years of tutoring experience in French and piano, and I’ve discovered that tutoring is truly my passion. I enjoy creating structured, supportive lessons tailored to each student’s strengths while helping them improve in areas that challenge them.
