About Serene
I am a student at Macquarie University currently pursuing a double degree in English and Psychological Science. I have been teaching ever since high school, and I believe that the experience I have gained in the field coupled with challenges I faced when studying English myself would definitely come to my aid when helping other students gain a better, more proficient understanding of the language. I am an avid reader and love exploring the massive world of classics, and I also like to show people that the oldies can really be goldies, so if you find classics menacing, I would love to help you discover (and maybe even love) them over time!

I currently study English as part of my course at Macquarie University and am passionate about the subject. I mostly teach literature and classics, but I also have experience working with writing essays and appreciations of texts. I also make personalised study plans and provide you with test prep, so you feel as if you’re ready to take on tests like a champ! Over the years, I have come to learn that many students find English a very menacing subject, and I would love to help you learn the ins and outs of the language, while sharing my love of the subject with you!
