About Brittany
I am an experienced English tutor who also works as a data analyst. I hold a B.A. in Psychology, a M.A. in Human Development, and I am currently pursuing an M.S. in Educational Psychology. I have been providing private lessons for the past 11 years, first as part of a tutoring center and then with my own business. My experiences have enhanced my abilities to work with students of various ages and abilities, especially individuals that may be working with Dyslexia and/or ADHD.

The teaching methods I utilize depend on the needs of my students, as I believe that it is incredibly important to make lessons as applicable to the daily life of my students as possible. Typically, I start each lesson with a check-in/review of the previous lesson. From there I like to move on to a warm-up activity that introduces the session topic, before moving on to the main focus of the lesson. At the end of each lesson I like to leave a little extra time for questions regarding the material we covered that day.
