About Miethuna
I am a second-year university student and an experienced English tutor, currently teaching 11+ and GCSE English to students from Year 7 to Year 11 at a tuition centre. I have also gained valuable classroom experience assisting with Year 8 lessons in a school setting.
I have a strong passion for English, supported by achieving GCSEs and A-levels in English Language and Literature. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet individual learning needs. I adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles, helping students build confidence, improve skills, and achieve their academic goals.

I hold an A-level in English Language and Literature and have four years of experience teaching English. I currently teach GCSE students, providing one-to-one tuition that is fully tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning goals.
I offer online tuition sessions lasting one hour at a rate of £20 per lesson. My teaching approach is supportive and structured, with lessons designed to build confidence, improve exam technique, and strengthen subject understanding. To support schoolwork and revision, I provide a range of resources, including workbook pages and targeted practice materials.
The first lesson is offered free of charge to allow students to become familiar with my teaching style and to assess their learning needs.

My tutor has only been helping me for around 3 months , but I can definitely feel my English lit skills improve drastically . I would 100 percent recommend having Miethuna Miss as a tutor .
Miethuna is a wonderful tutor, as she is so passionate about teaching and helping students reach their goals. Miethuna is also super helpful and makes the lessons enjoyable.
She is an amazing tutor who genuinely cares for her students. She gives excellent feedback, and thorough help. My grades have improved since lessons have started.
A great teacher since she always understands and studies our curriculum before she personally handpicks questions that would be the perfect pick for us and help us expand and deepen our knowledge. she allows us to adjust and get comfortable and make sure we still remember past specification points on other parts of English and allows us to constantly recap, she also tests out other methods of studying before she chooses to teach and set us work with questions that will deepen our knowledge and allows us to test out the new method. she also makes sure we improve and lengthen our practice and linguistic skills!
