About Abraham

I'm an IT graduate, a Toastmaster, a sports writer, and, above all, a learner myself. English has always been one of my strong suits, and my experience with sports writing has given me an opportunity to put that interest into practice. Whether it's expressing an idea clearly, structuring a piece of writing, or engaging readers through words, I appreciate how much effective communication can change the way a message is understood.

My involvement in Toastmasters has also strengthened my appreciation for spoken communication, public speaking, and the confidence it takes to express yourself in front of others. Together, these experiences have shaped how I view English: not simply as a school subject, but as a practical skill we use to communicate, think, write, and connect with people.

As a tutor, I want to bring that perspective into our lessons. Whether you want to improve your grammar and vocabulary, become more confident in everyday conversations, strengthen your writing, or express your thoughts more clearly, we'll focus on understanding and practice rather than rote memorization.

I'm a learner myself, so I understand that progress comes from curiosity, consistency, and being willing to make mistakes. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal isn't to keep you dependent on a tutor, but to help you develop the skills and confidence to continue improving independently.

If you'd like to improve your English in a practical, engaging way, get in touch! Tell me what you'd like to work on, and we'll figure out an approach that suits your goals.

My English classes are designed to help learners of all ages become more confident and effective communicators. Whether you're a school student looking to strengthen your grammar and writing, a learner hoping to improve your vocabulary, or an adult who wants to speak English more comfortably, we'll focus on practical skills that you can use in everyday life.

As a Toastmaster and sports writer, I value clear expression, thoughtful communication, and the ability to engage an audience. I want to bring that perspective into our sessions through explanations, examples, conversations, writing exercises, and activities suited to each learner's age and goals.

For younger students, we can focus on building strong fundamentals, improving comprehension, and making school English easier to understand. For older students and adults, lessons can focus more on spoken English, writing, vocabulary, and expressing ideas with clarity and confidence.

My approach is centred on understanding rather than memorisation. Questions are always welcome, mistakes are part of learning, and lessons can be adapted to your pace and needs.

Whether you're starting with the basics or looking to polish your communication skills, let's work together to make English more natural, enjoyable, and useful for you!
