About Ivy
I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied English and Communication Studies after developing a strong interest in language, education, and human communication during my academic journey. During the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and learning levels, helping them improve their English skills through supportive and practical instruction. Teaching English allows me to combine creativity, communication, and mentorship in a meaningful and rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners feel more confident expressing themselves in everyday situations.
My teaching style focuses on patience, adaptability, and communication-based learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and organized repetition, while others respond more naturally to conversations and interactive activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, learning style, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning environment remains one of my highest priorities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading literature, exploring creative writing, and studying different communication styles through films, podcasts, and cultural media. These interests help me bring relatable examples and fresh ideas into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, connection, and personal growth in everyday life. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students communicate comfortably in situations that once felt unfamiliar or intimidating.

My English lessons are designed to help students communicate comfortably and confidently through practical and engaging learning methods. I teach grammar structure, vocabulary development, sentence building, pronunciation improvement, and listening comprehension using explanations that feel simple and approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include storytelling activities, speaking practice, repetition exercises, roleplays, and visual learning tools that help students improve naturally over time. I create a relaxed learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate openly and practice without fear of making mistakes. Every lesson supports confidence, fluency, and long-term communication growth.
Beginners receive patient guidance with greetings, basic sentence patterns, pronunciation practice, and everyday vocabulary through organized repetition and interactive exercises. Intermediate learners improve speaking confidence, listening accuracy, conversational flow, and response timing through guided discussions and practical communication activities. Advanced students focus on natural expression, smoother fluency, and stronger communication ability for social, academic, or professional situations. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, goals, and confidence level so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning English should feel enjoyable, useful, and encouraging. I motivate students to practice naturally during lessons instead of depending only on memorization methods. Many learners become more expressive and comfortable communicating as their confidence continues improving over time. My goal is to help students build strong language foundations while enjoying the process of learning English. Every lesson supports confidence, curiosity, and lasting communication development.
