About Edward

I am from Stockport in the UK. I am a musician and artist in my free time which makes me very creative and gives me plenty of things to talk about. I studied Music Technology at university in Leeds, and learnt to create music for radio, television and video games. I was also a guitar and drum teacher in my spare time. I moved to Hong Kong in 2011 to teach English. While working in Hong Kong I wrote songs to help children learn English and taught Music and English classes every week after school. I also created the Happy Sam English channel on YouTube, which has over 2 million views and 11,000 subscribers. I moved back to the UK in 2020 and taught Primary Education and completed my PGCE in Primary Education. I then taught music and technology for 2 years for a start-up company in Manchester. More recently, I teach Entry level ESOL to adults in Manchester to learners from countries around the world.
