I have a master's degree and have taught almost every grade at one time or another. I have taught college students public speaking, grammar, humanities, world religions, argument based research writing ethics and philosophy. I would like to teach from home as I am susceptible to flu and Covid.

My methods are orthodox and standard-based. I have also used Aristotelian methodologies, such as seminars with great success. Generally speaking a lesson should contain direct instruction, guided practice, independent practice, and a check for student understanding. English classes are often fashioned to look like read, talk, write.
