About Monette
I've had experience teaching in the preschool level, 4th and 5th graders, and junior and senior high school students. It was a joy teaching different levels although I must admit that the most fulfilling experiences I've had were the ones with high school students--all the ideas and exchanges! They were my teachers too, in a sense. When the student's face suddenly changes expression, I know it's because they were suddenly hit with realization, doubt, or even disbelief. Then the discussion begins. I love that!

I'm also an artist so I like being creative when I teach anything! Depending on the level or the need (I've tutored children and young adults), the lessons I prepare are geared towards the students' interests. My goal is to, at the very least, instill a friendly attitude towards reading for those who don't like it, and a love for reading for those who are more open.
