About Yelizaveta
Hello, my name is Yelizaveta - I am an English teacher of Ukrainian origin. I teach adults and adolescents. I myself speak several foreign languages (Spanish - intermediate level, French - pre-intermediate level) and I know what difficulties my students encounter, so I try to make the learning process as comfortable and efficient as possible.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
I have 4 years of study at a pedagogical university with a specialization in English philology, TEFL/TESOL certification, translation and school practice, 4 years of private practice, 6 months of teaching as a volunteer with children and adolescents, and a course on the use of artificial intelligence in modern online learning.
I am multilingual, I speak Spanish fluently and I am currently learning French. I live in France, where I finished a TEFL/TESOL (120 hours) course for English teachers, I regularly attend online conferences for teachers and continually improve my language skills.
I apply all the knowledge and new approaches I have learned during my classes, so my students are constantly engaged in the process and achieve excellent results.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN CLASS:
COMMUNICATIVE METHODOLOGY - we will talk a lot in our classes, practicing real-life situations and discussing interesting and relevant topics, such as unsuccessful dates, psychology, unusual hobbies, modern fashion, travelling, etc.
These are not boring lessons, because apart from the fact that I compose the course on the basis of modern foreign textbooks from Oxford, Pearson and Cambridge (Roadmap, English File, Speakout, Vocabulary in Use, etc.), I complete it with authentic materials. What does that mean? I supplement our lessons with videos/articles/podcasts/series and we learn the real language spoken by native speakers.
IMMERSION IN ENGLISH-SPEAKING CULTURE.
I regularly organize holiday-themed lessons where we learn about the traditions and daily life of English-speaking countries. It helps us see the language through the prism of another country's history and mentality and broaden our horizons.

Through gradual immersion in the language environment, you will not only be able to improve your own pronunciation and get rid of the language barrier, but also learn to understand the fluent speech of native speakers.
INDIVIDUAL APPROACH - I take your wishes and particularities into account, I help you develop learning strategies and create the path to achieve your ultimate goal. From the first session we build a learning strategy that suits you personally. I systematically monitor your progress after each topic and ask you in-depth self-reflection questions. This helps you stay motivated - you can see the results of your work, and I provide you with the tools and support you need. I coordinate lesson topics and am always open to your suggestions.
I WORK ON THE EDVIBE/PROGRESSME INTERACTIVE PLATFORM.
Advantages of the platform: video communication is on the platform; all the material for our lessons is in one place that you can access from different devices and at any time; the homework is also there; you have your own dictionary and word bank with different learning modes; a dictionary of irregular verbs; homework on the platform is varied and interactive.
