I am Shaleen from sunny South Africa, I currently teach students ages 3/5 English an Afrikaans. I have 3 years teaching experience, beginner level , just completed my TEFL certificate and also completed a course on the ELDAs curriculum.

My method of teaching is TPR (Total Physical Response ) love this method of teaching language or vocabulary concepts by using physical movements to react to verbal input. The process mimics the way that infants learn their first language an lowers stress. Task Based language teaching (TBLT) focuses on real word tasks , it helps target language fluency and student confidence. I am a very passionate and dedicated person , love using my gift of teaching to help others.
