About Marina
The methodology to be applied will depend on the student's needs. Students of more basic levels and / or with many grammatical deficits need classes with drills, explanations and exercises. More advanced students, on the other hand, can take a class with a full Communicative Approach, in which knowledge will be given through the student's verbal production in a more autonomous and spontaneous way. As for VYL (Very Young Learners, that is, children aged 3 - 7), learning takes place through storytelling and word association by context, in addition to, of course, many games for retaining content.

My daily practice as an English teacher is based on the premise that, although the Communicative Approach is the method I work with because I believe it is the most efficient, there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to learning. For this reason, I use what I call "best practices" with all my classes and individual students.
