About Eva
I am a certified 6-12 English teacher with an MA in English Literature and an MAT (Master's in Teaching). I have worked with students of all skill levels and backgrounds, including EL learners. In addition to teaching ELA, I have experience leading SAT prep workshops and assisting students with their college entrance essays.

I like to begin my lessons by discussing students' goals and desired supports. This helps me individualize learning based on students' needs, learning style/preferences, and interests. In addition to teaching content, I aim to help students develop strong study skills and build confidence! I teach grades 6 through early college; ELA, essay writing (especially college entry essays), SAT and GED test prep.
