Leyi singlehandedly got me through selective writing and improved my abilities enough that I was able to get into a very good high school. She is capable and understanding and, having been through the school system herself, understands the difficulties of the it. Leyi puts you in very good hands and is definitely a top choice as a writing tutor.

I have attended reading comprehension classes with Leyi for about half a year, and it’s been incredibly helpful. In the beginning, poetry was very hard to understand. The language was often abstract and most questions felt like trick questions. However, Leyi is able to explain each poem in a lot of detail, with language that was much easier to understand. I am now really confident unpacking the meaning of a new poem. Leyi also set regular vocabulary learning goals for me. Each week, I learnt new words which helped me understand a variety of texts. As a result, my English skills have increased exponentially! It’s fantastic attending Leyi’s class.

I think that LYT Education, the tutoring company that Leyi leads, is the best place to be at. Leyi sets high expectations for her students and is very dedicated to their improvement. For me personally, I found it very tricky to think of interesting plot ideas for creatives before attending Leyi’s English tutoring class. Ever since I started with Leyi, I have improved significantly in all components of English.
