About Guilherme Augusto
Generally, I prefer to use a methodology/approach that meets the best the objectives of the student. I have experience with the Discoursive Approach for example, with which the student uses a lot of the creation of personal texts to exercise the grammar and vocabulary learnt; as another example I also have experience with a Grammar Oriented methodology, where the necessary elements of the language are learnt to then be applied with exercises and essays. A talk with the student about the desired results is neeeded to apply the teaching method that suits it the best.

I am a translator and also an English teacher with experience with many levels and ages, although I have taught adults generally. I give classes, considering pauses for being a translator and for personal reasons, since 2010. I did a course of General English at the St Giles International School in Eastbourne, England, and I have 7.5 in IELTS (2014).
