About Maria Eliza
I am a self-motivated and progress-driven classroom teacher and ESL tutor with an extensive background in this industry. I have developed and executed strategies that I believe will bring value to your English communication skills learning.
Since 2020, I have also worked as an ESL teacher, developing strong skills in lesson planning, student engagement, and adapting instruction to diverse learners. My experience as a teacher has allowed me to develop strategies that quickly improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, while also building confidence. Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading, storytelling, music, and exploring literature, which I integrate into lessons to make learning meaningful and relatable. Understanding students’ interests allows me to create customized lessons that keep learners motivated and engaged.
I also value cultural awareness, encouraging students to practice English in authentic contexts, such as conversations, media, or cultural activities. My goal is to foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning, making English accessible and enjoyable for every student.
