About Clare
I am a CELTA qualified Teacher. Before this, my career was in HR working in large multinational organisations. I enjoy creating new and innovative ways of teaching, whilst ensuring the highest standards are met. I am comfortable working independently and to tight timescales to deliver impactful results. I am a team player, supportive of others, helping them achieve their goals, whilst ensuring that mine are also met. I am outcomes focused, with a strong commercial acumen.

I deliver English lessons to all ages - ranging from Kindergarten to adults. I teach general English, Cambridge exams and business English. I can teach one on one up to class sizes of 25. I am comfortable working to a structured syllabus or creating my own material to fit the students' needs. My approach is student centred. Creating a learning environment that is engaging and empathetic is paramount to my methodology.

I never studied English but I can have a quite fluent conversation about many topics because I learned it while I was working a volunteer in London more than 20 years ago. Over the years I have paid teacher to have a conversation because I hate studying and I consider it boring. Clare didn't accepted just to have a conversation with me because she said that I need to be stretched/challenged. It's more than two months that she is my on line English teacher and I can say that I like studying English and I like the new grammatical role that I am learning. I like to speak good English. She is also my daughters teacher and even their are 8 and 9 they are always willing to do they on line English lesson/play. In a few words I can say Clare is a charismatic, emphathetic, humble, funny teacher.
Clare is a very good teacher, the best! My children Giada and Lorenzo love her and she is able to teach from a distance because we live in Italy.
