About Olivia
I am a native English speaker from the United States. I love language exchange, and have taught English in China, Turkey, and the US. I have a calm and warm personality, and will always make it my goal to create a comfortable and positive learning environment. I have studied many languages myself (Japanese, Arabic, and Turkish) so I know what the language learning experience is like on a personal level. My teaching methods focus on the student and on creating a positive, enjoyable learning experience. My teaching methods include:

A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): A brief conversation or activity to review previous lessons and set the mood for learning.
Introduction of New Material (15-20 minutes): Introducing vocabulary, grammar, or functional language through photos, examples, or stories.
Guided Practice (20-25 minutes): Interactive exercises like role-plays, dialogues, or comprehension tasks to practice the new vocabulary and grammar.
Independent Practice (15-20 minutes): Creative activities such as writing a short paragraph, designing a dialogue, or discussing a topic to solidify understanding.
