About Ame
I'm an English and Classics student at UC who is planning to become an English teacher once I've finished my degree. I'm passionate about literature, and I believe wholly in the positive impact that good English teachers have on students. I want to share my love for the English language and help more kids to see the benefits of literacy, reading, and interacting with classic literature.

I can do hour-long lessons for kids and students up to year 10.
I believe that one of the major reasons why students struggle with English is because they don't get taught how to enjoy reading outside of school work. I want to encourage a positive attitude towards reading that can extend beyond their current classes and into their future. I prioritise active reading that will demonstrate how to analyse any piece of text.
I also specialise in finding methods for kids who might find it difficult to pay attention and keep focused.
