About Sarah
I am a student who is studying English with a minor in philosophy and am graduating in May. I've been providing students with writing help ever since I began college, and have been published in local newspapers as well as online publications. I have a 3.7 GPA and have made the Dean's List multiple times. Writing has always been in my blood. Both of my parents are retired journalists. My father worked for the BBC and my mother was published in Newsweek. I like to say that I get my best training at home. They have shown me how to develop a voice in my writing. After getting my degree, I plan on going to graduate school and eventually becoming a professor.

My teaching method is hands on. I have found that many people have no problem articulating what they want to say, but have problems translating their thoughts onto paper. Therefore, when I work with students, I like to show them various techniques that make their writing as passionate as their thoughts are. Instead of teaching them how to write to an essay prompt, I like to show them how to develop their voice as well. Anyone can respond to an essay, but it takes a long time to cultivate a distinct voice. I like to show students how to write in interesting and creative ways.
