About Anushka
Hi, I’m Anushka! I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in English Literature as a major subject and German being minor, and I truly believe that English is not meant to be feared like a surprise Shakespearean soliloquy. With an ISC schooling background, I enjoy teaching Modern English, writing skills, and literature in a way that actually makes sense.
My classes are interactive, discussion-based, and a safe space for questions (no judgment, ever). From helping young learners build strong basics to guiding senior students through Shakespeare, Keats, and Indian literature, I focus on clarity, confidence, and expression. If English has ever felt confusing or boring, I’m here to prove that it can be both fun and meaningful, because good literature, like good teaching, should never be dull.

I believe that English becomes easy and enjoyable when students understand why a rule or text works, not just what it means. As a BA English Literature major with an ISC schooling background, I focus on building strong language foundations while also developing a love for reading and writing.
My teaching style is student-centered and interactive. I adapt my methods according to the student’s age, level, and learning pace. For younger students (Classes 1–5), I use simple explanations, stories, reading aloud, and basic grammar practice. For middle and senior classes (6–12), I focus on grammar clarity, vocabulary building, structured writing, comprehension skills, and exam-oriented preparation.
Each class usually follows a clear structure:
• Quick revision of previous concepts
• Introduction of a new topic or text
• Explanation with examples and discussion
• Practice through exercises, writing tasks, or questions
• Doubt-clearing and feedback
For literature, especially authors like Shakespeare and Keats, I explain texts in an easy, modern way, focusing on themes, characters, language, and critical understanding rather than rote learning. I also teach Indian literature with cultural context to help students connect better with the text.
My special focus is on writing skills—sentence formation, paragraph writing, essays, creative writing, and exam answers—so students gain confidence in expressing their ideas clearly.
My classes are intended for students from Classes 1–12, including those preparing for school exams, 11+ exams, and board-level English, as well as students who want to improve their overall English reading and writing skills. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace.
